[MUSIC] The Internet – ‘Feel Good’ LP

On Tuesday September 24th, Odd Futures “The Internet” releases her debut LP entitled “Feel Good”.  This body of work surprised me to say the least. The young artist has been on my radar ever since her “Purple Naked Ladies” EP. But this album exhibits her true musicianship. The production on this album is superb. She created a sound she has dubbed “psychedelic soul”. It consist of live, airy instrumentation  mixed with eclectic synth sounds. The production is matched with her soft, elegant voice and song writing ability. She teams up with an array of artist that compliment her sound. Not a fan of Mac Miller’s singing on the “Wanders of the Mind” but it’s definitely made up by a personal favorite of mines, Jesse Boykins on the final track “Higher times”. This album is a melodic masterpiece that if given the proper attention shall give a pulse to the seemingly dormant genre of neo soul.
