[MUSIC] Phil Ade feat Bun-B – ‘2am’

artworks-000046376336-cfm60v-t500x500

If you’re not familiar with the talents of Phil Ade, then I suggest you do some research. The rising wordsmith returns to the game today with something brand new and highly infectious called “2 AM”. The track finds Phil trading bars and sharing mic time with the legendary southern wordsmith, Bun B, and the fellas don’t disappoint.

“2 AM” is driven by a menacing beat full of infectious melodic elements, hard hitting, street shaking drums that makes a nice home for the fellas and they tear shit down. This is nice! Check out the track after the jump and speak your mind below.

Recently Ohio artist/producer SupaNatra caught a flight to the west coast. But it wasn’t women, weed, and weather for Supa; his trip was full of work in the studio and meetings with label executives. Check out this vlog as he gives his perspective on the industry, the independent grind, and life in Hollywood, live from the lobby of The W hotel.

Exec Gang’s own SupaNatra drops a quick freestyle over ASAP Fergs ‘Work’ beat addressing a lot of problems in the Columbus Ohio rap scene. Rappers acting like females? Females chasing “rappers” in the studio? No local radio station play? Check out the music below and let us know what you think!

WBRN Radio – Episode 15: THE VAULT ‘Tae Bern’

bern584311009

THE VAULT is a series of classic episodes from my previous podcast “The 3rd Degree” that I’ve decide to bring back. The first of these is ‘Tae Bern,’ a workout mix I made featuring old school Hip Hop. This is the perfect upbeat funky dope mix you gym rats and IG fitness fanatics need to push you through the hour on the elliptical or the last rep on the squat rack. I started listening to this regularly recently because I’ve been in the gym heavy (there will be a different post for that), so sweat it out with me! Note: After the 41 minute mark, there are three cool down songs. The first two, are from famous 80s movies. Do you know which ones?
