Ep 47: Run.2 | WBRN Radio

ep47

I have been listening to the same running mix for over a year now, and while it has helped me improve my time greatly, it has really gotten old. When I made the first mix (check it out here) my intentions were to make another one in the next month. Finally, here’s something new you can run to. I wanted to make it clean like the first one, but some of the songs aren’t. It’s the same theory though; music at 83 BPM to help you (me) keep a great pace. Since the last mix I’ve shaved almost 2 minutes off of my 2 mile time. I hope it helps you!

Ep 38: R.un | WBRN RADIO

ep38

As someone who has never ran consistently, I needed help keeping pace. After doing some research, I found out that music at 83 BPM is good to keep pace with steps, and with the correct stride will result in a 8 minute mile time. So I made this mix to help me and ultimately reach my goal of a 16 minute 2 mile run. It’s only 37 minutes long, so if you run for longer than that, play it twice lol (Actually if you run for longer than that you probably don’t need help with pace). For novice runners like myself, I hope this helps!

#bern200 – MOTIVATION MONDAYS: I DID IT!

tt

It’s been 48 weeks since I started my #bern200 journey. When I started I was determined to reach goals and break barriers my 400+ pound body would never accomplish. Over the past 11 months I’ve lost 150+ pounds and I feel like a new person! One thing that was always hard for me was standing up. I couldn’t stand on my feet for more than 5 minutes without breaking out in a sweat and experiencing back pain. Obviously any physical activity like jogging or running was just a pipe dream. However this Sunday I did the unthinkable; I ran a continuous mile in 8 minutes and 22 seconds, once again proving that setting a goal and working towards it every day makes the impossible a reality.
